So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. When I read these posts, so many memories flood my mind and it just seems we are getting notices like this more often. Condolences to Ed's family and all that are grieving his passing.
Like with most everyone of you, I'd lost contact with Ed. But over the years I had befriended his younger brother David through our shared unterest in music. David told me Ed was a long haul truck driver. And as he slipped into alzheimer's he'd wake up and say "boy the traffic was bad leaving L.A. last night." So though he was confined in Dallas, he kept on truckin!
