I had the unique experience/opportunity to connect with Jere after high school and before her reconnection and marriage with David..   She was sincere and searching. Very spiritual.   Feisty  and independent.  A big deal was she needed help from no person.  Especially a man.

In her illness, she needed help...she had to let people into her space and her heart.  

I call that a healing into death.
